Bono and the Edge Seal Their Reputation as Friendly Neighbors...

Back in the winter months of 2002, in Ireland, there was a crisis. Two seals, Charlie and Domino, were rescued on Killiney Beach (near Bono's and Edge's homes) by an artist named Charlie Whisker. Malnourished and injured, the seals were in dire need of medical attention. Four months later, and after much rehabilitation by Charlie Whisker, Charlie the Seal and Domino were ready to be released back into the ocean once again.
